 ATEM-8 transient electromagnetic meter application fields

 

TEM (Transient Electromagnetic Method) is on the basis of conductivity and magneto conductivity difference of the earth rock (ore), applying electromagnetic induction theory to send primary pulsed magnetic field to underground by under-earth loop or earth wire source. During the interval of primary pulsed magnetic field, the coil or earth electrode can be used to observe secondary turbulence field then study the space and time distribution rules of the field as well. It is a kind of time domain electromagnetic method that can be used to prospect the subsurface minerals and solve other geological problems.

1-Medium-deep resource detection, the detection depth ranges from 30 meters to 1300 meters underground.

2-The tunnel advance detection distance is 300 meters.

3-Underground polymetallic deposits, water search, underground electrical layering, delineation of underground water-filled caves and steep-angle geological structure detection,

4-Coal seams and coal seam goaf (subsidence) areas and water-filled areas,

5-General survey and exploration of geothermal resources and oil and gas fields in areas covered by high resistance (such as carbonate rock, igneous rock and frozen soil covered areas).

6-Tunnel water exploration and geological structure tracing
