Details About 48/60/72/120/180/300 Channel Electrical Resistivity Tomography Res IP Imaging System
Product Overview:
Our High-Resolution Multi-Channel Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) & Induced Polarization (IP) Imaging System is an advanced geophysical exploration instrument engineered to acquire high-quality subsurface resistivity and chargeability data. Available in 48, 60, 120, 180, and 300 channel configurations, this system caters to a wide range of exploration scales and depths. With its multi-electrode system, programmable electrode switching, high power output, and integrated IP measurement capabilities, this system is an ideal choice for geological surveys, mineral exploration, groundwater resource assessment, environmental geophysics, and engineering geophysics.
A 1-D resistivity sounding survey, focused on a single vertical profile, typically requires only 10 to 20 measurements.
In contrast, a 2-D imaging survey—which maps a subsurface cross-section—collects anywhere from hundreds to a thousand data points.
The most significant jump occurs with a 3-D survey, which aims to model an entire volume of rock. These surveys require a much larger electrode array and can involve thousands, or even tens of thousands, of measurements.
